Men confess the sex mistakes they made on their ‘first night’

On the wedding night, we have so many ideas but when the moment arises, many people experience their worst. We spoke to some men and they anonymously told us some of the worst sex mistakes they made that night and here are a few. Do they ring a bell? Did you too experience something similar? “We both had asked each other’s preferences for our wedding night and she was clear that she would do it if I was clean down there, but I didn’t do it out of laziness. So on our wedding night when I went full monty, my wife backed a little and looked at me as if I had lied to her about something huge. She felt deceived that she did what I had asked for but I could not do even this much for her. Besides the hygiene issue, this lie or unkept promise hurt her and it was a bad start to our marriage.”

It was not our first time but our wedding night was a disaster. I was under a lot of pressure because I was a married man now with so many responsibilities... and I think even my wife was because we fumbled so much with our clothes and even with the foreplay that we had a clumsy wedding night. Now after 2 years when we both look back, we did not make the most of that night as many people describe as amazing.

It was our first night and my wife had a pack of condoms ready because we did not want to get pregnant so soon. But I wanted to try it without one so while at it, I took it off without telling my wife and things were not good between us the whole week after and we welcome a baby 9 months later. My wife is a working woman and she had her promotion coming up just 2 months later. I did suggest abortion but it was too critical as per the doctor. It was the biggest mistake of my life and it made me look like an extremely selfish man.

It was a beautiful night but crazy too. It got so tiring that when we went to the hotel I had booked for my wife and me, I took off my clothes and just dozed off. I did not even ask her how she was feeling. It was a blunder and there was no way for me to take care of the damage. It was our wedding night! My wife is a very understanding woman so she did not say anything in the morning, but I could see the sadness on her face. It was her first night too. She had so much jewellery on and her lehenga was super heavy, I was aware of all of that. I did not even help her with all that and just slept. It is a regret that still haunts me after 5 years.
