The South Indian film industry is buzzing with excitement as superstar Rajinikanth is all set to attend the centenary celebrations of the legendary actor-politician, Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao (NTR), in Vijayawada on April 28. The grand event will be hosted by NTR's son and popular actor Nandamuri Balakrishna AKA Balayya.
The iconic NTR, who was born on May 28, 1923, was not only a versatile actor but also a great politician who served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for three terms. His contribution to the film industry and politics is unparalleled and he is still remembered as one of the most influential figures in the history of South Indian cinema.

To celebrate the 100th year of NTR's birthday, his family and fans have planned a grand event in Vijayawada. In a special video message, Balayya invited fans and people from all over the country to attend the event and pay their tributes to his father. He also announced that Ex-Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will attend the event as chief guest.

The actor is presently shooting for director Anil Ravipudi's 'NBK 108', in which he will share screen space with Kajal Aggarwal and Sreeleela. He is also in talks with director Boyapati Srinu for his upcoming film, but an official announcement is still awaited.
