PM Modi to flag off India’s first water metro project in Kochi on April 25

Managing Director of Kochi Metro Rail Limited, Loknath Behera on April 24 said that the Kochi water metro is a unique project and will be inaugurated by honourable prime minister Narendra Modi tomorrow. “Kochi water metro is a unique project and will be inaugurated by honourable prime minister Narendra Modi tomorrow. This is a game-changing transport system because Kochi is surrounded by many Islands and out of them 10 islands are very important and thickly populated. Those people who depend on the main lands they will be getting a less seamless, sustainable, regular, and luxurious transport system at a very affordable price,” said Loknath Behera, MD, Kochi Metro.
