Two booked for bid to murder in road rage

Nagpur: Two persons, Mangalsingh Guleriya and Nikhil Bhaskar, were booked for attempt to murder after they stabbed Tushar Khaparde, 42, at a petrol pump at 10 number puliya on Kamptee Road.
Khaparde was attacked after the victim’s bike hit the two-wheeler of the accused while filling fuel at the pump. An offence was registered at Pachpaoli police station.
Pedestrian killed in hit-&-run
A 42-year-old pedestrian, Praful Wankhede, was hit by an unidentified bus near Rajiv Nagar stop on Hingna Road on Friday.
He was later shifted to a hospital where the doctors declared him dead. The driver fled from the spot along with the vehicle. Cops are now trying to identify the bus through CCTV footage. tnn
