The Income tax officials are conducting raids in more than 50 places linked to G Square realtors, a firm considered to be very close to the DMK’s first family in Tamil Nadu. Sources say, the Income tax officials trying to locate the owners/ partners of the leading real estate firm. The searches are being conducted at more than 50 places including the Head office in Chennai, Coimbatore and several other places across Tamil Nadu. Besides real estate firm G-Square offices, DMK MLA MK Mohan’s residence also raided by IT department days after the BJP’s ‘DMK files’ expose. Sources added that Office and residences of Shanmugaraj auditor of Sabareesan, (CM MK Stalin’s son in law) at Anna Nagar is also searched by IT sleuths.
