Cops thwart Hyderabad teen’s marriage

HYDERABAD: Based on a tip off, Hayathnagar police stopped a minor girl from getting married on Sunday.
Police said elders of both families fixed the marriage. The girl, 17, was rescued by police.
The groom, his parents and parents of the bride were taken into custody. They were warned that a criminal case would be registered against them if they perform the marriage.
