Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 2.56 per cent), Laurus(down 1.7 per cent), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 1.6 per cent), Cipla(down 1.26 per cent) and Ipca Laboratories(down 1.11 per cent) were the top losers on the index.
The Nifty Pharma index was down 1.14 per cent at 12402.65 at the time of writing this report.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 0.1 points at 17623.95, while the BSE Sensex was up 3.17 points at 59658.23.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 0 were trading in the green, while 0 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, Zomato Ltd., Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd. and Rail Vikas Nigam were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
Shares of Shree Vasu Logistics, Viviana Power Tech Ltd., Nirman Agri Genetics, Ksolves India and Ircon Intl. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Vikas Proppant & Gr, Gangotri Text, Omkar Speciality, Mohota Industries and BEML Land Assets hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
