Jaipur: Chief minister Ashok Gehlot will inaugurate a Mehngai Rahat camp at Sanganer's Mahapura gram panchayat on Monday. These camps will be organised in the state from April 24 to June 30.
The chief minister said that every poor family in the state will be provided relief from inflation by linking them with the state government’s public welfare schemes. People will get benefits of 10 welfare schemes in these camps, said Gehlot.
The general public will be made aware by giving them complete information about their rights, schemes and their eligibility. Registration has been made compulsory to get linked with all the 10 public welfare schemes. The benefits of the schemes will be provided immediately in these camps.
A person from any district can get the registration done through Jan Aadhaar in the camps in other districts. The camps will be organised from 10 am to 6 pm.
Gehlot said, “The objective of the state government is that no needy person is deprived of registration for all the schemes. For this, 2,700 Mehngai Raahat camps will be organised every day. After the free registration, the eligible beneficiaries will be provided Mukhyamantri Guarantee Card on the spot.”
The district administration will organise 2,000 permanent relief camps at government offices and public places. Two-day inflation relief camps will be organised along with ‘Prashashan Gaon ke Sang’ in each gram panchayat and along with ‘Prashashan Shaheron ke Sang’ in each city ward. In this way, the two-day camps will be organised in 11,283 gram panchayats and 7,500 wards. Counters will be set up in these camps for registration and distribution of the Mukhyamantri guarantee cards.
The registration will be done for 10 schemes: Gas cylinder for Rs 500 under the Mukhyamantri Gas Cylinder Yojana; domestic consumers to get 100 units of electricity free per month under the Mukhyamantri Nishulk Bijli Yojana; Agriculture consumers will get 2000 units of electricity free per month under the Mukhyamantri Nishulk Krishi Bijli Yojana; All beneficiaries coming under the ambit of National Food Security will get a free Annapurna food packet every month under the Mukhyamantri Nishulk Annapurna Food Packet Scheme.
