VIDEO: American airlines plane catches fire mid-air after possible bird strike, makes emergency landing

On Sunday morning, an American Airlines flight caught fire mid-flight after a bird struck its engine as it was en route to Phoenix. The flight was forced to return to its departure airport in Columbus, Ohio where it made an emergency landing. The pilot was alerted and the flight was forced to make an an emergency landing. The plane landed safely at John Glenn Columbus International Airport after 8 am local time and no injuries or casualties were reported in the incident.
