Woman, her friend kill lover in Thane, held

KALYAN: Manpada police on Sunday arrested a woman and her friend for killing the former's boyfriend. The accused have been identified as Sandhya Singh and Guddu Shetty, and the deceased as Maruti Hande.
The incident took place on Saturday in Kolegaon, Dombivli. Singh and Hande were in a live-in relationship.
However, Hande was unhappy with her friendship with Shetty. On Saturday, when he objected to it, Singh and Shetty beat him to death with a bat and stick, and fled. The duo were nabbed the next day, after which they confessed to the crime.
