There is a strong team of 90 activists in each and every ward to cover around 2.5 lakh houses in city for campaigning. A total of 15,000 party workers from six morchas have been engaged to form 100 tolis for campaigning in all 100 wards of the city.
The Mahanagar BJP leadership has drafted a plan to cover around 2.52 lakh houses ahead of polling day with an objective to narrate the achievements of BJP led union and state government under the smart city projects.
The morcha members are interacting with eligible voters of each and every house, apprising about the welfare schemes being run by the Central and state governments and its impact. Party’s spokesman Rajesh Kesarwani told TOI: “ Members of all wings have assigned the work to connect with eligible voters and party leadership aims to cover over two lakh houses in city.
Kesarwani further added that the motive behind to cover each and every house was to connect with eligible voters effectively and these are ground work level preparations to receive the feedback of development works as well.
He claimed, “Tolis of BJP morcha members are distributing pamphlet to apprise the voters about the development works and projects being taken up under Smart City Mission in the past five years in different cities including Prayagraj.”
The party is also focusing on booth management and teams have been formed for the same. Party is also holding ‘key voters’ meeting who can influence voters’s minds in respective booths in all 100 wards of the city. Moreover, party is also working on a specific strategy for each ward in terms of its social equations, highest number of voters of a particular community\ caste as well as weakness and strongholds. The BJP is targeting all community vote banks that have traditionally not been BJP supporters. Moreover, booth level micromanagement is also being worked out, apart from mobilisation of voters at several levels.
