"Virupaksha" had a strong opening day haul of Rs 4.79 crore in the telugu states of andhra pradesh and Telangana. Notably, the movie earned the highest-ever share in the Nizam region of Rs 1.82 crore, which is a big victory for the Mega hero.

In North America, the film has grossed nearly $275K as of 8 PM and is expected to cross the $300K mark by the end of Friday. The movie has already broken Shaakuntalam records and has crossed the life time collections as well.
