According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Rachit Chauhan, a resident of Rajat Vihar society in Noida.

During the investigation, it was found that Chauhan had shut his shop at 11pm and was returning home with a worker on a scooter. The duo had stopped to have ice cream when he was attacked.
