Coimbatore: On account of Avinashi Road flyover construction work at LIC Junction, the traffic police have made changes in the vehicular traffic flow at JM Bakery Signal, LIC Junction and Anna Statute from Saturday evening onwards.
Vehicles coming via the Avinashi Road old flyover and Dr Nanjappa Road will not be allowed to take a right turn at JM Bakery Signal to travel through Immanuel Church Road. Vehicles should now go straight and take a right turn at LIC Junction and use Huzur Road.
Vehicles coming through Dr Nanjappa Road will be allowed to take U-turn at JM Bakery Signal to reach the Avinashi Road old flyover.
Vehicles coming via Addis Street to JM Bakery Signal will not be allowed to travel through Immanuel Church Road or the Avinashi Road old flyover. They can only take left to Avinashi Road.
Similarly, vehicles coming from the railway station and the district court complex will not be allowed to take Addis Street at JM Bakery Junction. They have to take Old Post Office Road to reach Avinashi Road. They can take U-turn underneath the Avinashi Road old flyover to reach Addis Street.
Vehicles coming from Gandhipuram to LIC Junction will be allowed to take only left turn. They can reach the Anna Statue and take Huzur Road.
Likewise, vehicles from Anna Statue will not be allowed to reach LIC Junction to go to Gandhipuram. They have to take a right turn at Anna Statue itself and take Dr Balasundaram Road. Vehicles going to Anna Statue through Dr Balasundaram Road will not be allowed to take the right turn to reach LIC Junction. They have to travel through Huzur Road.
The bus stop in front of Immanuel Church has been shifted in front of the South tahsildar office.
