30-year-old beaten up on suspicion of cellphone theft dies

NASHIK: A 30-year-old person, who was beaten up by four persons in the Trimurti Chowk area of Cidco on April 8, succumbed to his injuries on Sunday.
The deceased person is identified as Nitin Jadhav, a native of Nandgaon.
The police said that Nitin Jadhav was beaten up by a man, his wife, and two more persons over some argument between them.
On the complaint of Nitin’s father, the Ambad police had registered an FIR against the four persons including the couple.
The woman’s husband and one more person were also arrested by the police.
Meanwhile Nitin’s condition continued to deteriorate in the Nashik civil hospital and on April 12 he was shifted to the Adgaon medical college, where he died during the course of treatment.
The Ambad police would be adding the section of murder against the accused.
