Natl Lok Adalat to resolve 30k pending cases

Nagpur: The National Legal Services Authority, Nagpur, is organizing the National Lok Adalat on April 30.
The National Lok Adalat will be held simultaneously in high courts and all their division benches, district courts, all tribunals and taluka courts across Maharashtra. Disputed cases will be kept for mutual settlement at various places.
A total of 30,000 pending and controversial cases in Nagpur district will be settled in the Lok Adalat. The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) will settle disputes between parties through negotiation in the Lok Adalat.
A massive public awareness campaign is being carried out at the district level to resolve a large number of cases of parties in the Lok Adalat by mutual agreement. tnn
