Student union seeks changes in JSSC exam
Ranchi: Days after calling Jharkhand bandh to demanding withdrawal of the new recruitment regulations of the government, the Ajsu-P sought changes in the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission’s (JSSC) examination pattern.
Speaking to reporters at Oxygen Park in Ranchi’s Morabadi, Ajsu-P convenor Suraj Mandal said the union wanted the government to modify the exam pattern and include a local language common test and a test on general knowledge on Jharkhand. Each exam should be of 120 marks, the union said. It also reiterated its demand of implementing 100% reservation for local aspirants in third and fourth grade jobs and withdrawal of the current regulations which leave 40% of the total vacancies open for all.
