JAIPUR: The body of a 30-year-old unidentified man, with his one eye missing, was discovered on a secluded plot of land in Pratap Nagar Saturday. The Pratap Nagar police station house officer (SHO) Manvendra Singh said the deceased could not be idenitfied.
“Primary investigation indicates that he may have died due to drugs,” Singh said. A team of forensic experts led by senior scientific official Abhya Pratap Singh collected samples from the secne.
They also found some syringes near the body. “It is suspected that some animals ate part of the deceased’s body. We suspect It to be a case of a drug overdose,” said an official.
Sources said that the deceased probably mixed smack with an anti-allergic injection. “This fatal mixture often leads to drug overdose and can cause immediate organ failure or even brain haemorrhage,” an official said.
An official also said that many drug addicts have been using spiking narcotic substances with anti-allergic injections in the past few months.
