Vivekananda Reddy murder case: CBI questions YS Avinash Reddy's PA at Pulivendula

TIRUPATI: A team of Central Bureau of Investigation sleuths questioned Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy's PA Ramana Reddy at Pulivendula in YSR district on Sunday and cross-checked with him about the movements of the YS Avinash Reddy and others on the day YS Vivekananda Reddy was found murdered at his residence on March 14, 2019.
The CBI team who arrived at Pulivendula from Kadapa, first inspected the scene of offence at YS Vivekananda Reddy's residence and later visited Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy's residence.
The CBI team who had a brief interaction with Kadapa MP's PA Ramana Reddy at Avinash's residence after inspecting the premises for a brief while, later took him with them in their own car upto the ring road in Pulivendula.
It is learnt that the CBI team questioned Ramana Reddy about Avinash Reddy's whereabouts and the movements of other key persons in the case. They also asked him about at what time Avinash Reddy reached YS Vivekananda Reddy's house on the day he was reported dead.
It may be recalled that Avinash Reddy told the CBI during his questioning that he was actually on his way to Jammalamadugu when he received a call and returned back to Pulivendula on the day before when Viveka was murdered.
Meanwhile, the CBI sleuths also questioned Viveka's computer operator Inayatullah at Pulivendula. It was Inayatullah who sent pictures and videos of YS Vivekananda Reddy to his family members after his murder.
They reportedly asked him about who all were present on the day Vivekananda Reddy was reported dead.
On the otherhand, YS Bhaskar Reddy's and Gajjala Uday Kumar Reddy's questioning by the CBI continued for the fifth consecutive day on a trot at Hyderabad on Sunday.
The duo were questioned for more than six hours at the CBI office and later shifted back to the Chanchalguda central jail.
The duo's six-day CBI custody granted by the TS high court ends on Mondat.
