7 students caught for harassing schoolgirls

Rajkot: Seven students including two minors were detained for allegedly harassing school-going girls on Shanala Road in Morbi town.
The Morbi police swung into action after two videos of girls being harassed went viral on social media.
Morbi City A division police arrested Rahul Patel (19), Nayan Koli (20), Akshay Zala (18), Darshan Keshur (18), Arun Jadav (18), and two minors.
According to the complaint, the two videos had started doing the rounds on social media on February 20. In one video, one of the accused creates obstacles in the way of girls going to school near a supermarket and another one was seen making vulgar gestures.
Two others were seen helping them. These students were also seen screaming and scaring the girls.
In another video, some of the accused are seen obstructing the roads and creating hurdles on the roads for general traffic.
According to the police, all the accused students enrolled in various schools and colleges.
