26-year-old stalks minor girl in Nagpur, arrested

NAGPUR: A 26-year-old man, Mohd Abdul Gafoor, was on Thursday handed over to Lakadganj police by brother and other relatives of a 14-year-old girl whom he was stalking.
It’s learnt Gafoor was allegedly stalking the girl and her friends while they returned from coaching classes. Despite rejecting his advances, Gafoor continued to stalk the minor and followed her as she was returning to her home near Telephone Exchange Square on Thursday.
After the miffed girl alerted her family, Gafoor was apprehended and handed over to the cops. Lakadganj police have registered an offence against Gafoor and placed him behind bars.
