A poetry and story-reading session held in Panaji

Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts in association with Dhaee Aakhar, Goa hosted Yeh Nadi... Yeh Jungle... Kuch Keh Rahe Hai..., a poetry and story-reading session on April 19, 2023. Dhaee Aakhar, Goa is formed out of a confluence of writers, poets, academics working in experimental theatre, literature and music.
Through a series of poetry readings by Ramita Gurav, Mamata Verlekar, and poet Salil Chaturvedi, this gathering focused on the relations between nature and man, in the hope to restore imbalances and to return to nature its rivers and forests.
The readings featured a short story by Kashinath Singh called Jangal Jatakam and recitals by renowned Hindi poets including Jacinta Kerketta, Kedarnath Singh, and Goa's own Salil Chaturvedi.
