The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will make an early start in election-bound states of Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh and begin its campaign in June, said party functionaries.

The party has planned public meetings of Delhi CM and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal in June in the three states. A beginning will be made with the oath-taking ceremony of “lakhs of volunteers”, a trademark of AAP, they said.

“The party is increasing its volunteer base across the electionbound states. We will complete district-level exercise of recruiting volunteers by the end of this week,” AAP national general secretary (organisation) Sandeep Pathak told ET.
