CHENNAI: The independent inquiry committee set up by the management of Kalakshetra has launched a secure online portal --- https://www.reachoutsupport.co.in/ -- for students of Kalakshetra -- including alumni -- to register incidents of sexual harassments on or around the campus during their stay.
Committee chairman Justice K Kannan said the portal assures that all the mails, messages, images, video clippings and documents shall be kept confidential by the three members of the committee. They will not be shared with anyone connected with the management of Kalakshetra, except to the extent of confronting matters relating to any particular person against whom statements are made. The names of the complainants and witnesses shall also not be shared with any persons connected with the management of Kalakshetra, it added.
The Kalakshetra management set up a three-member committee with Justice Kannan, former DGP Letika Saran and senior doctor Dr Shoba Varthaman.
Any person, who does not have any unique identification to enter the portal, may lodge the complaints or statements in physical formats by communication to the office of Justice K Kannan at his address:

The complaint form, as released, is for students only. For staff, the portal is being constructed in the same URL and will become operational shortly in a few days, it said.
