TIRUPATI: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) sleuths questioned
Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy for close to six hours in connection with the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case at the agency's regional office at Hyderabad on Friday.
YS Bhaskar Reddy and Gajjala Uday Kumar Reddy were brought from the Chanchalguda Central Jail to the CBI office for questioning which went for a brief while.
The Telangana high court granted six-day custody of Bhaskar Reddy and Uday Kumar Reddy to the CBI till April 24.
On the other hand, the high court has passed a restraint order on the CBI not to arrest Avinash Reddy till April 24.
Three held in highway heist caseThe MR palle police in Tirupati district arrested three accused on Friday in connection with the highway heist reported in the outskirts of Tirupati last year.
The accused were identified as Veerabrahmam, Ramesh Reddy and Naveen Kumar.
3 scamsters heldChittoor Police arrested three scamsters involved in luring unemployed youngsters by promising them jobs in the ward and Grama sachivalayams.
The accused were identified as B Srinivasa Rao (48), B Jayakrishna (40) and A Dasaradha (49).
