Londonderry: Man arrested in New IRA investigation

A man has been arrested in Londonderry as part of a police investigation into the activities of the New IRA.

The 41-year-old was arrested under the Terrorism Act by detectives following a search of a property in the Creggan area of the city on Friday.

The man has been taken to Musgrave Police Station in Belfast, Det Insp O'Flaherty said.

He is being questioned by detectives in the serious crime suite, the senior officer added.
