Investor held for molesting bank staffer in Pune

PUNE: The Kondhwa police on Wednesday night arrested a 40-year-old investor on the charge of molesting a woman bank employee over a parking dispute in a housing society.
Senior inspector Santosh Sonawane said on Thursday that the woman was parking her car when the vehicle hit the gate of the investor's ground-floor flat following which a dispute broken out between the two. Sonawane said, "The woman said that she apologised for the incident, but the man abused, charged at her, and slapped her. He also molested and stalked her."
A magisterial court on Friday released the man on bail. The investor was not available for comment. But his sister termed the allegations false and baseless. "After my brother sought reasons for her car hitting the gate, she charged at him, pushed and abused him," she said.
