India has recorded 11,692 new coronavirus infections, while the active cases have increased to 66,170, according to the Union Health Ministry data updated on Friday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the Valedictory Session and the award ceremony of the 16th 'Civil Services Day' today. The event will take place at Plenary Hall, at Delhi's Vigyan Bhavan at 11 AM.
