IMEX launched MICE Impact Academy

The MICE Impact Academy at IMEX Frankfurt, is happening for the first-time in 2023, a training and networking format that is mainly designed to the requirements of operational event planning. The MICE Impact Academy aims on sustainability and impact creation in various aspects under the topic – “People, Planet and Purpose”.

The CEO of the IMEX Group, Carina Bauer, said that with this new format, she is happy to be able to offer event planners stirring additional training units and to offer sensible tips on the way to put together sustainability and effect in a straight line into their event concepts. Since they believe that training and education is a key to change. This arrangement is targeted both in terms of long-standing event planners and creative ideas for better sustainable events. Carina also added that the newcomers and climbers in their industry who wish for obtaining important basic knowledge and contacts.

The MICE Impact Academy comprises of numerous individual formats:

The MICE Impact Hosted Buyer Academy, on Monday, May 22nd, will be hosted for the first time. This creative networking and learning format will offer workshops on the Sustainable Development Goals, meaning and the circular economy with tangible and inspirational ideas for sustainable event planning.

Also, the format kick-starts the impact-oriented dialogue between suppliers and places with the planner side and therefore promoting the joint development and execution of probable concepts, strategies and ideas.
