Arvind More and supporters join Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena.
KALYAN: In another major setback for Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray led Shiv Sena (UBT) in Maharashtra's Kalyan, the district vice president Arvind More and several other party functionaries joined Shiv Sena in presence of chief minister Eknath Shinde in Mumbai, on Thursday.
Interestingly, Arvind More was known as a staunch supporter of Uddhav Thackeray before the split.
At local level, More said, "Thackeray group’s leaders are running a dictatorship. I was not getting respect and therefore, I decided to leave the party and join Eknath Shinde who gives respects to each Shiv Sainiks."
More is associated with Shiv Sena for the last 38 years. During this period, More held several posts from local corporator to district vice president.
His exist from party is said to be major disappointment for UBT group as most of ex-corporators and party functionaries from the region have joined Shinde faction.
