Bodies of minor boy, man found in Patna

PATNA: Two bodies — one of an 11-year-old boy and another of a 30-year-old man — were found floating in separate water bodies under mysterious circumstances in Nepali Nagar and Paliganj areas of Patna on Thursday.
Locals spotted the boy’s body floating in a pond at Nepali Nagar locality under Rajiv Nagar police station and informed the police.
SHO Neeraj Kumar said there was no injury mark visible on the body of deceased. “We are trying to scrutinize the CCTV footage of the area to check how the child died,” the SHO added.
In another incident, a partially-charred body of a youth was recovered from the Punpun river in Paliganj under Sigori police station area.
The police suspect that the youth was murdered by the miscreants and later his body was burnt to hide the identity. The man might have died about 2-3 days back. TNN
