As mercury soars, schools revise timings for cl 1-8

Noida: Schools have revised timings for classes 1 to 8 in Gautam Budh Nagar and Ghaziabad amid heatwave conditions. Notices issued by the sic Shiksha Adhikaris said the revised timings will be effective from Friday.
As per the new guidelines, students of classes 1 to 8 will attend school from 8am to 1pm in GB Nagar and from 7.30am to 12.30pm in Ghaziabad. However, timings for teaching and non-teaching staff remain unchanged.
“In view of the extreme weather conditions, schools are instructed to follow the revised timings,” Ghaziabad BSA Vinod Mishra said.
