As many as five soldiers were charred to death after terrorists ambushed their vehicle with grenades in Poonch district of J&K on April 20. After the grenades were lobbed, the army vehicle immediately caught fire, which led to the tragic incident. The incident took place on a highway in the Bhata Dhurian area, some 90 kms from Poonch. Search operation is currently underway by the army troops to locate the terrorists. Drone surveillance is also being carried out in the vicinity of the attack by terrorists on the truck carrying Indian Army personnel. Defence Expert PK Sehgal also opined on the incident and said that terrorists made use of the bad weather.
