Pune: The Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to postgraduate courses offered by four agricultural universities of Maharashtra will be held from July 22 to July 24.
The online form-filling process began on Wednesday and will continue till May 5, said officials from the Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER), Pune.
“There is a lot of scope now for agriculture students. Job and entrepreneurial opportunities for them are increasing. Also, the country needs students who not only improve the quality of farming but also improve farmers’ income,” US Kadam, director of education at MCAER said.
He also advised students to submit correct application forms. “Sometimes, students commit careless errors while selecting category or while filling their marks. It is important they check the form thoroughly. We have also given them time to make necessary changes,” Kadam added.
Graduates and students appearing for final year degree examination for the academic year 2022-2023 can apply for the CET. They can access the application form at http://www.mcaer.org. “It is important to read the entire information booklet carefully before filling out the application form.
