Gujarat: Coolers, Sprinklers installed at Ahmedabad’s zoo amid rising temperature

With the increasing temperature in Gujarat’s Ahmedabad, the animals in the Kankaria Zoo are facing difficulties. The zoo authorities took cognisance of it and made special arrangements to protect the animals. 25 industrial coolers have been installed outside the chambers of the animals and green nets have also been put up. The animals, during the day, sit in front of these coolers and save themselves from the scorching heat. The animals are also given water showers during the day to protect them from rising temperatures.
