BJP chief JP Nadda lists out Centre’s progressive measures
Hubballi: BJP national president JP Nadda said the party has ‘Politics of Report Card’ with which they can list the development works carried out across the states.
“However, Congress leaders can’t list their development works even if they are given an opportunity to spell out their works,” he said while addressing an interaction programme with intellectuals here on Tuesday. “India has become the world’s pharmacy. I salute pharma industry leaders who have made our medicines the cheapest in the world and best in efficacy. It took decades and centuries for vaccines for different diseases to reach India. However, in just nine months — during Covid-19 — two indigenous vaccines were made in India,” the BJP president said.
“Under the National Education Policy, regional languages are being promoted. PM Modi urged children to learn at least 10 sentences of every Indian language. Now, it’s been decided that the exam of the Central Armed Police Forces is being conducted in 13 languages,” he said, adding: “In 70 years of Congress rule, they divided society on caste, language, creed and religion lines. Ironically, they are now divided. They are shrinking election after election. We believe in unity in diversity. We respect regional sentiments.” Union minister Pralhad Joshi, KLE director Mahantesh Kavatgimath were present.
Addressing the party workers at a hotel here on Tuesday evening, he called upon them to make efforts at the ground level to ensure success, “as this assembly election is crucial for the development of Karnataka”.
