A lace of intrigue and passion was woven by the artists of the Omsk musical theatre on the stage. The premiere of Gleb Matveychuk's musical "Dangerous Liaisons" took place in the city. The task of the play is to push the viewer to personal reflections. The authors and the company, play with the emotions of the audience. Everything is in play: the scale of the sets and the visual effects, the choreography, the artistry, and the vocals. The process of staging "Dangerous Liaisons" at the Omsk musical took a little time by theatre standards. The tight deadlines had to be compensated for by the intensity of the rehearsal work. As a result, the audience saw a whole new level of vocals and choreography- Sharper and more daring. “Stylisation” is one of the most important techniques of the genre. It's a peculiar language of interaction with the audience. It has to be accessible, understandable & entertaining. All the more so as the audience of musicals, as a rule, is young. This means that the genre has one more important mission -to provide such an audience, often existing in an everyday content dump, with an adequate cultural code, doing so in an interesting way. A cultural revelation. That's what Gleb Matveychuk calls his musical "Dangerous Liaisons". Sincerity with oneself, provocativeness, and the most honest and at the same time contradictory desires of the characters on stage are pushed to the limit. This kind of blade walking is called art. And it allows the heroes of the story to become, for the audience, not ideal 18th-century characters, but real people who, at all times, sooner or later arrive at the same truth.
