A police officer charged with three rapes while on duty has appeared in court.
Police Sergeant David Stansbury, 42, is accused of raping women in Plymouth, Devon, in 2009.
At the time he was serving with the Devon and Cornwall force, but is currently with Hertfordshire police. He is suspended from duty.
During a six-minute hearing at Bristol Magistrates' Court, Stansbury was not asked to indicate a plea and was remanded on unconditional bail.
He spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
