3 held with 14 stolen phones in Ludhiana

Police arrested three men with 14 snatched mobile phones, a bike used in snatchings and a sharp-edged weapon on Tuesday.
The accused identified as Kuljinder Singh, Yuvraj Singh and Kuldeep Singh were aged between 25-30 years. They are all residents of Malakpur village in Ladhowal.
The accused were arrested from near Sidhwan canal following a tip-off. ASI Ravinder Kumar, in-charge, Raghunath enclave police post, said the accused used to visit different areas in the night to find soft targets. They used to threaten migrants and labourers with weapons and snatched their mobile phones and cash. As many as 14 mobile phones were seized which they had snatched in a month from different areas.
