Atiq brother Ashraf's video about death threat by cop goes viral
The video was shot when Ashraf was being taken back to Bareilly jail after being brought to Prayagraj for a court hearing.
PRAYAGRAJ: A video of Atiq Ahmed's brother Khalid Azim alias Ashraf has now gone viral where he can purportedly be seen talking to the media about being threatened that he will be brought out of jail and eliminated within a fortnight. In the video, shot on March 28, Ashraf can be seen telling a media person that a police officer has threatened him that he will be brought out of jail within the next fortnight and shot.
The video was shot when Ashraf was being taken back to Bareilly jail after being brought to Prayagraj for a court hearing. As soon as the prison van reached Bareilly jail, some of the reporters rushed to speak to him. He said, "Hafte do hafte ke ander tumhe jail se phir se kissi bahaane se dobara nikalenge aur nipta denge (Within a week or two, you will be taken out of jail again on some pretext and will be eliminated)."
Further, on being asked the name of the officer or the place he is posted, Ashraf had said, "Ek bade afsar ne dhamki di hai, mai uska naam nahi bata sakta (I can only tell that a very senior officer has threatened me and I cannot divulge his name)."
