Anandban Club, Aundh

Located in Aundh, Anandban is a health and amusement club. The club consists of a tennis court, a badminton court, and indoor and outdoor basketball courts. However, the main attraction is the swimming pool. It has a baby pool and a main pool. The main pool is 20 metres long and divided into three levels: 4 feet, 7 feet and 10 feet. Members can enjoy the pool facilities from Tuesday to Saturday.

Blue Water Swimming Academy, Pashan

Entry: Rs 2,500. Daily membership, without coaching, is Rs 200 per hour. General timings of the pool are from 6:30 to 11 am and 3:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

Coached by Cdr G Muralidharan, former coach of the Indian team, the academy offers summer camps from March to June. The camp is held from Monday to Friday, from 6.30 am to 11 am and from 3 pm to 7:30 pm. Each batch is for 45 min. The academy takes students from ages 5 to 65.

Champion Aquatic Club, Kothrud

Established in 2001, Champion Aquatic Club offers two time slots for swimming— 6 am to 11 am and 2:45 to 8:30 pm. Each batch is for 45 mins. The pool is open from Monday to Saturday.

Deccan Gymkhana Swimming Complex, Deccan Gymkhana

Popularly known as Tilak Tank, the complex consists of four pools of 50×25 m and a baby and walking pool. The two main pools conform to the norms for conducting national tournaments. Aqua aerobics and water polo are the other activities that are held regularly. The pool is open six days a week, with Sundays off. Batches are from 6 am to 10 am; 3 pm to 7 pm.

Hyatt Swimming Pool, Viman Nagar

Part of Hyatt Regency, the 17 m swimming pool is reserved for members and can be used between 7 am to 9 pm. The pool is open on weekdays and has amenities like lockers and showers. The indoor pool is temperature controlled, making it usable all year long.

Lap swimming, water aerobics, strength and endurance training sessions, breathing exercises, hydrotherapy, water polo and aqua basketball are some of the activities offered by Solaris Swimming. The pool is under head coach Ajinkya Taru, a certified coach and lifeguard. Coaching is provided in two categories — beginner and advanced. The facility has a 25-metre pool.
