Haaland gets the ball on the right. Istead of shooting he crosses to Grealish who passes it to Ake. The Dutch defender tries a shot but the ball goes off-target.
Bernardo Silva makes a good run along the right flank, dribbles past two defenders but fails to deliver a cross on target.
Bernardo Silva gets a pass from Rodri and he passes it to Grealish. The former Aston Villa man tries a shot from distance, which is blocked by Bayerns red wall.
Musiala gets the ball to Coman, who tries a cross but the ball, after a headed clearance, falls for Goretzka, who shoots into the gloves of Ederson.
Leroy Sane takes the free-kick with his left-footed ucrler right on target. Ederson meets it with equal quality to make a good save.
Haaland gets the ball and tries ot make a run. After a very soft touch of Upamecano, he goes to the ground and the referee shows the Bayern defender a red-card. After a VAR check, the red card is ruled out.
Bayern Munich attacks on the counter. Musiala’s through ball is received well by Sane, who makes a run along the left, beats his marker but his right-footed hit is just off-target.
De Bruyne gets the ball from Rodri, passes to Bernardo Silva, who tries an overlap and gets it back to the Belgian, whoses shot is caught by Sommer.
Cancelo tries to stop his former teammate Bernardo and ends up fouling him for the first yellow card of the game.
Another chance, another run by Coman. He beats Ake and crosses for Choupo-Moting but Bernardo is there to intercept and clear the ball out of danger.
Coman gets the ball along the right flank and sprints past Ake to try and create a chance. He crosses from the right but there is too much height there as Bayern looks to create an early chance here.
De Bruyne tries to get an attack started but De Ligt pushes him down for a free-kick. Tuchel, however, is not happy with the decision.
It is Dias who is ensuring Bayern remain at bay as he tries to clear the ball off Coman and fouls the Frenchman. The City defender is lucky to not get a yellow card there.
Bayern is looking to build from the back. Musiala to Coman to Pavard and back to De Ligt. Bayern is getting men forward.
Coman makes a run along the right flank, tries to exploit the wing but Dias clears the ball out of danger.
Bayern gets the ball rolling. The host, in red, starts from right to left while Manchester City, in yellow, starts from the other end.
The players walk out of the tunnel. The UCL anthems are done. The handshakes, too, done and dusted.

We will see if there are such things as miracles. I would like to accept the challenge. But we need a good mix of realism and belief that anything is possible if we play at our absolute best. It is our task to ignite a spark among the crowd.
Thomas Tuchel had beat Guardiola’s Manchester City within half a season in-charge of Chelsea. Having returned to management with a different side, Bayern Munich, it will be interesting to see if the German can do the same, starting this match, trailing from the first leg.
