Light rainfall likely between April 20 & 22

Kanpur: Harsh weather conditions are prevailing in the industrial city for past few days. The highest day temperature was recorded on Monday. The day temperature had reached a high of 42 degree celsius. This was 3.6 degrees more than the normal value.
On Tuesday, the day temperature was 41.2 degrees. This was 2.4 degrees more than the normal value.
For the first time this year, day temperature touched 40 degrees was on Sunday (April 16). Also the Sunday’s night was the hottest of the season. The night temperature touched a high of 23 degrees. This was 3.4 degrees more than the normal value. Till last week, the day temperature did not touch 40. The temperature was hovering between 35 and 37 degrees. During that period, the weather conditions were tolerable. But ever since the temperature has touched 40 degrees, it has been giving tough time to the people.
The Met department of CSA university said that there are chances of light rains between April 20 and 22. This could provide relief from the scorching weather conditions.
