Rahul Gandhi hangs out in Old Delhi, enjoys sharbat, golgappas
The Congress leader took a walk around the famous Matia Mahal market which is an age old food street located in the opposite of Jama Masjid.

Former Congress Chief Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday evening, was seen hanging out in Old Delhi, where he visited famous eateries and was seen enjoying the taste of street foods.
Gandhi visited the heart of Delhi Chandni Chowk, which is packed with activities amidst the buzz of the ongoing month of Ramazan. In Chandni chowk, along with Gandhi the famous food blogger Kunal Vijayakar was also spotted.
The Congress leader took a walk around the famous Matia Mahal market which is an age old food street located in the opposite of Jama Masjid.
Matia Mahal, considered to be the food capital of Delhi is a one stop destination for all the foodies around. Gandhi, who himself is a foodie is often seen enjoying the local foods around the country whenever he visits a place.

In the Matia Mahal market, Gandhi visited a famous sharbat shop Mohabbat ka Sharbat.

The market remains crowded on its usual days and during the month of Ramazan the crowd movement is more than usual, with the Congress leader visiting it, the crowd went crazy gathering around Gandhi, raised slogans and some even clicked selfies with him.



Rahul Gandhi also explored the streets of Bengali Market, another market in the Old Delhi where he visited the age old famous Nathu sweets, a reason why Bengali Market is still so famous.
At Nathu’s, the Congress icon took the taste of delicious golgappas.

Gandhi seemed was on a mood to fill his taste-buds with the local street food taste for long time who enjoyed some other items also such as aloo tikki chaat and others. He then also was seen enjoying seekh kabab and other delicious items on the menu at Al Jawahar restaurant near Jama Masjid.

On Tuesday, BJP leader and Opposition Leader in the West Bengal assembly Suvendhu Adhikari claimed that Banerjee had dialed Amit Shah to request him to restore the Trinamool Congress’s (TMC) national status.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday slammed the BJP on its remark of Banerjee dialing Union Home Minister Amit Shah over Trinamool’s national party status.
On Tuesday, BJP leader and Opposition Leader in the West Bengal assembly Suvendhu Adhikari claimed that Banerjee had dialed Amit Shah to request him to restore the Trinamool Congress’s (TMC) national status.
Chief Minister Banerjee while speaking to the reporters at a briefing in the state secretariat said that she was surprised and shocked to hear such statement and she challenged if any such things is proven that she had called Shah, she will resign.
Earlier this month, the Election Commission of India (ECI) granted AAP as a national party and de-notified Sharad Pawar’s NCP and TMC’s national party tag after reviewing the eligibility.
The TMC supremo said that Adhikari is lying and she also spoke about the strong efforts of the opposition parties to come together and stand united against the center ruling BJP government ahead the 2024 general elections.

She referred to her Bihar counter part and JD(U) supremo Nitish Kumar’s recent visit to Delhi where Kumar held meeting with Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.
Banerjee taking a swipe at the BJP said, their (opposition) silence should not be considered that they are all alone and that whenever they will come, will come like a tornado.
When the West Bengal CM was asked her take on the legalizing of the same-sex marriage, she avoided answering it saying the matter is sub-judice and will only form an opinion once the court finalizes its order as it is a sensitive issue and she has to take care of the emotions of the people.
Suvendu Adhikari was formerly a Mamata loyalist who before the 2021 state assembly polls defected the TMC to join the Bharatiya Jnaata Party.

A curious 3-year-old on Tuesday blew the senses of the secret service in the US deployed at the White House in Washington, D.C.
The toddler managed to pass through the iron fences of the White House and entered into the complex, the US Secret Service immediately effectuated and took charge of the kid to reunite him with his parents.
The child unintentionally trespassed the White House fences from the North side of the complex. He managed to take to the action as he got a space of 5½ inches through to pass in.
Immediately after this action by the child the White House system triggered the Secret Service agents after which they approached near the child and after a brief questioning with his parents, he was handed over to them.
The Secret Service spokesman Anthony Guglielmi said that the officers came across a curious young visitor and that the White House security systems instantly triggered the Secret Services officers and the toddler was reunited with this parents immediately.

The US Secret Service is considered to be one of the most advance trained groups in the world having the responsibility of protection of the most powerful person on the earth the US President.
The child is said to be the first ever person to breach the security and enter the White House premises after the installation of the 13 foot tall fence and increased security system.
White House, the official residence of the United States of America is considered as world’s most highly secured and guarded premises.
Earlier, whosoever has tried to break into the White House had been immediately nabbed by the Secret Service officials and has faced prison term for almost more than 10 years.
In this case, as it was a 3-year-old child who was unaware of the consequences of the action he took, was freed after a brief inspection by the officials.

India surpasses China, ranks most populous nation in the world with 142.86 population
As per the official data released by the UNFPA, nearly 25% of the population of India is under the age of 14, whereas between the age group of 15 to 64, it accounts to 68% of the total population and the remaining 7% consists of people above 65 age group.

India, now ranks as the most populous country in the world surpassing China, as per the data released by United Nations (UN) on Wednesday.
According to the United Nations Population Fund’s (UNFPA) The State of World Population Report, India has now got the tag of highest population across the globe with 142.86 crore people against China’s 142.57 crore.
India which almost for a decade now, stood second in the list of highest populated nations in the world and China in the first, as per the data released today India has now topped the list officially.
This is the first time ever since 1950, when India in the list of UN’s most populous country has ranked first.
There is no official data available with the government of India regarding the total count of people who reside in the country as the last census was conducted 12 years back in 2011 and since then no census has been conducted.

As per the rule, the census data is released in every 10 years, which was due to be released in 2021 but it got delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic as census requires volunteers visiting each home across the nation taking details and accounts of each and every citizen and members in their family.
As per the official data released by the UNFPA, nearly 25% of the population of India is under the age of 14, whereas between the age group of 15 to 64, it accounts to 68% of the total population and the remaining 7% consists of people above 65 age group.
China for a longtime now is facing a decline in its demographic with its plunging birthrate and ageing workforce. In January this year, a report claimed that China’s birth rate recorded an all time low with 6.77 births in every 1000.
In fact, it was the first time ever in the past six decades that its yearly population in 2022 shrank than last year’s population that too over a million count.
In the meantime, some agencies across the world have reported and claimed that the population of India will be in a rising scale for nearly three decades now until it reaches the mark of 165 crore and then would see a declining phase.
The report of the United Nations also suggested that the estimated global population will hit around 8 billion by the mid of 2030.
