Piramal Pharma Ltd.(number of shares traded: 1.58 crore), Hind Const Co(number of shares traded: 1.49 crore), PNB(number of shares traded: 1.37 crore) and Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.31 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:21AM in Wednesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index was trading 24.05 points down at 17636.1, while BSE Sensex was down 92.89 points at 59634.12 at the time of writing this report.
In the Nifty index,
Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.80 per cent),
Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.75 per cent),
JSW Steel Ltd.(up 1.62 per cent),
Tata Steel Ltd.(up 1.30 per cent) and Mahindra &
Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.75 per cent) were among the top gainers.
While
HCL Technologies Ltd.(down 1.65 per cent),
Infosys Ltd.(down 1.60 per cent),
IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.31 per cent),
Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 1.16 per cent) and NTPC Ltd.(down 1.06 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
