4-year-old girl found dead

Ludhiana: A 4-year-old girl was found dead at her house in New Amar Nagar early on Monday morning. Her mother found her dead at around 5am and informed her husband in Moga. The couple had been living separately since December due to marital disputes.
As soon as the father came to know about the child’s death, he called the Ludhiana Police and alleged that it was an unnatural death. ASI Dharminder Chaudhary said, “Parminder Kaur of Ludhiana’s New Amar Nagar got married to Moga-based Palwinder Singh about five years ago. Due to strained relations, they got separated and Parminder started living with her parents in Ludhiana with their daughter. Parminder said her daughter usually woke up at around 4am but she did not do so on Monday. She said that when she checked at around 5am, she found her dead. The family rushed her to hospital but doctors declared her dead.” The woman informed husband and asked him to come for the last rites but Palwinder informed the police. Police reached Parminder’s house and took the child’s body. The ASI said the doctors would conduct an autopsy on Tuesday, after which the cause of death could be ascertained. tnn
