2 suicide cases in city

Ludhiana: Two suicide cases were reported in the city on Monday. In the first case, Jaspal Singh, 45, of New Subhash Nagar, ended his life by consuming a poisonous substance in Tibba area. He suspected his wife of infidelity. In the second case, a shopkeeper allegedly ended his life by hanging himself with the ceiling fan at his house in Daad village. The deceased Anil Kumar, 35, fought with his wife on Sunday night, after which he took the extreme step. Police said that Anil at first jumped off the first floor but escaped unhurt. Then he hanged himself to death.
