ReutersThe NSE Nifty index ended the session 46.7 points down at 17660.15, while BSE Sensex fell 183.74 points to 59727.01.
In the Nifty index, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 3.41 per cent), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 2.08 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(up 2.06 per cent), IndusInd Bank Ltd.(up 2.01 per cent) and Cipla Ltd.(up 1.96 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 2.68 per cent), UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 1.90 per cent), Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 1.48 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 1.14 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
