Apollo Hospital shares drop 1.27% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. traded at Rs 4333.45 on BSE at 02:13PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.27 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 3365.9 and a high of Rs 4901.0.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 81.44 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 53.18 per share and 11.55 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 6,958 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:13PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 62275.29 crore and is part of the Hospital industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 4.84 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 0.4 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 4379.8 and Rs 4295.4.

Promoters held 29.33 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2023. FII and MF ownership in Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. stood at 46.96 per cent and 11.37 per cent, respectively.
