Jack Clark, NC State transfer with Xavier among finalists, chooses Clemson

North Carolina State transfer Jack Clark, a 6-foot-8 guard from Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, who entered the portal after playing last season for the Wolfpack and spending the previous four seasons with the La Salle Explorers, considered Xavier among four finalists, but chose Clemson, according to his Instagram account.

College Hoops Today's Jon Rothstein reported that Arkansas and Villanova also were finalists, with Clark scheduled to make an announcement Tuesday afternoon.

Clark averaged 9.0 points, 6.9 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.8 steals in 26.9 minutes per game in 23 games for NC State this past season, including 17 starts. He had three points and 10 rebounds in the Wolfpack's NCAA tournament loss to Creighton.

North Texas transfer Abou Ousmane committed Tuesday to XU. Rice transfer Quincy Olivari committed Sunday to the Musketeers. Western Kentucky transfer Dayvion McKnight and Indiana transfer Logan Duncomb, a former Moeller High School standout, committed to the Musketeers earlier this month.
